UPDATE (3 Jan, 11am): 25-year-old Subramanian Muralimanogarjoshi was charged with one count each of criminal trespass and outrage of modesty with wrongful restraint on Monday (2 Jan).
He had allegedly trespassed into the Siloso Beach woman’s toilet at about 2.55am, pushed a woman into a cubicle, locked the door, and groped her breasts, reported Channel NewsAsia (CNA).

On Sunday (1 Jan), a 25-year-old man allegedly molested a woman along Siloso Beach Walk.
The incident happened in the early hours of New Year’s Day, following which a report was made.
Police officers established the man’s identity and he was arrested within two hours.
He will be charged in court on Monday (2 Jan), reported Channel NewsAsia (CNA).
Police were alerted to the incident in the early hours of New Year’s Day at about 3.20am.
The 25-year-old had allegedly molested the victim, whose age was not revealed, along Sentosa Beach Walk.
After follow-up investigations, Clementi Police Division officers established the identity of the man and he was arrested within two hours.
The 25-year-old man will be charged in court with aggravated outrage of modesty on Monday (2 Jan).
If found guilty, he will be jailed for between two and ten years. He will also face caning, reported CNA.
The police reiterated they have “zero tolerance” towards sexual offenders who threaten the personal safety of the community.
They stressed that offenders will be dealt with sternly in accordance with the law.
