Diners were disturbed following a shooting incident outside a restaurant in Johor Bahru, Malaysia on Wednesday (16 Oct).
They later discovered that the man who shot at the car was actually a cop.
A video of the incident was posted by @omgitsyen on TikTok on Monday (21 Oct), which has since garnered 200,000 views as of writing.
In the 28-second video, a grey car is seen swiftly backing into a parking area, with a person holding its front.
Suddenly, it drives forward, ramming itself between a car and the wall of the restaurant, right below the window where some diners were filming the incident.
Terrified, the diners then began to move away from the window and hide behind tables.
According to the OP, they were having dinner when they saw two men, one of which was in plain clothes, trying to stop the grey car’s driver by firing at the car twice.
The driver accelerated forward to escape but got stuck between another car and the wall.
People in the restaurant started screaming and shouting, ‘He has a gun!’
Many ran away from the window as the man with the gun started running toward them, right in front of the stuck car.
Later, the diners found out that the man who shot at the car was a cop trying to arrest the driver.
According to the OP, two police cars showed up soon after the incident.
