UPDATE: Lineup for the opening weekend has just been confirmed.
Forget Zouk and Attica, the classy, cosmopolitan New York nightclub Marquee is making its way to Singapore.
Set to open in The Shoppes at Marina Bay Sands (MBS) on 12 Apr, Marquee Singapore will be the city’s largest – and probably the most lavish – nightclub.
The vernal nightclub will span 2,300 square metres across 3 storeys, putting it at roughly twice the size of Zouk.

Needless to say, all that space is going to good use.
The club will house an 8-armed indoor ferris wheel, with a photobooth in each pod, that can take partygoers almost 30 metres above the dance floor. There will also be a 3-storey-high carnival slide to zip down for quick cocktail replenishments.
The lineup for the opening weekend on 12 and 13 Apr is has not been confirmed.
But seeing as how Marquee’s decks have been graced by the likes Post Malone, Travis Scott and Armin Van Buuren, you can probably expect big names to be running the night.

If the going gets too loud for you, or if you’re looking for a place to have audible, meaningful conversations with your friends, AVENUE lounge is only a few doors away.
The luxurious, speakeasy-style lounge will offer a quieter and more intimate setting for those ‘getting too old for clubbing’.
Apart from lazing on the couches and at the counter, visitors can opt for a little fun with the mini bowling alley and vintage pinball machines.
Nocturnal partygoers definitely have something to cheer about with these additions to our nightlife scene.
The ticket sales have not been announced for Marquee’s opening weekend, so keep your eyes peeled on their Facebook page for any updates.
