With literally millions of mobile downloads worldwide, Mobile Legends is easily one of the most popular Multiplayer Online Battle Arena (MOBA) games available right now. But if you’re under the impression that you need to be on your phone to enjoy all things Mobile Legends, you’d be wrong.
This May, Mobile Legends gamers will be able to participate in full-fledged game activities at 515 Unite pop-up events held at these locations across Singapore:
Here are some of the activities you can look forward to and when to catch them.
If you’re someone who has a knack for DIY-ing clothes, the cosplay competition happening at City Square on 19 May is tailor-made for you.
Persuade 4 other friends to join you in the contest and you will be able to form your favourite Mobile Legends hero combination, this time, IRL.
Craftsmanship and originality are key here. Officials at the event will be checking each of the costumes, and only those that are 80% or more handmade will be allowed to participate in the competition.
As an added incentive, 15 of the best cosplayers will be bringing home exclusive Mobile Legends merchandise:
Playing Mobile Legends heroes like Chou and Kagura can be quite an intense exercise for your fingers, so give your digits a break and take part in the dance competition at any 515 Unite event stations, where up to 25 dancers will be able to showcase their moves.
Just take a video of yourself dancing to the Official 515 Theme Song and share it on Facebook or Instagram with the hashtags #515Unite and #MLBB.
All eligible participants will receive a complimentary Mobile Legends EZ-Link card with a $5 pre-load value, and the 2 entries with the most ‘likes’ and ‘shares’ will get to bring home a limited-edition Miya Figurine each.
There will also be mini tournaments held at all 3 stations where competitive gamers can earn ‘diamonds’ used to purchase in-game items.
Only 20 players will be allowed in each station’s tournament, so head down early if you intend to take part. You can also register for the tournament online using this registration form.
4 teams of 5 will be formed at random from all participating gamers. These teams will then have to battle their way through the mini tournament brackets.
Professional Mobile Legends teams will also be making appearances at the 515 Unite station at City Square Mall on 19 May, and players will be able to participate in friendly matches with these seasoned pros to test their skills.
You know what they say — if you want to be the best, you’ve got to play with the best.
Those with an unquenchable thirst for adventures like Bane will enjoy the treasure hunts taking place at all 3 stations.
Participants will be given a quest sheet at the registration counter and will have the chance to roam around the stations in search for hidden clues.
Those successful in doing so will stand a chance to win attractive prizes, on a first-come-first-serve basis:
Participants interested in taking part will have to install a QR code scanner on their mobile phones.
Anyone who takes part in the activities at the stations will be automatically eligible for a lucky draw.
25 Mobile Legends EZ-Link cards will be up for grabs in each station’s lucky draw, each containing a pre-load value of $5.
With these larger than life events, players can take the opportunity to introduce their friends to the immersive world of Mobile Legends.
