The automatic extension of Vehicle Entry Permits (VEPs) for Malaysian-registered vehicles will be coming to an end on 30 Jun.
To avoid paying VEP fees of $4/day for their motorcycles and $35/day for their cars, Malaysians in Singapore can opt to send their vehicles back home by engaging a towing service.
The RoadCrews – a roadside assist and recovery company – is currently arranging the shipment of Malaysian motorcycles in Singapore back to Johor Bahru (JB) for $100.
The company announced its service through a Facebook post on Tuesday (9 Jun).
The company also posted the details in Chinese. Here’s what you need to know if you’re eager to get your bikes sent home.
From Monday (8 Jun), The RoadCrews is arranging the shipment of Malaysian-registered motorcycles back to JB. The fee for this service is S$100 (RM300).
According to the post, Malaysian riders engaging the service will only need to prepare 3 things:
After confirming the transaction with The RoadCrews, riders need only park their motorcycles in one of their designated pick-up points.
These pick-up points are found in 2 car park locations:
The company’s towing vehicles will then pick up the motorcycles between 5-11pm.
Road Crews also offers car towing services from S$280 (RM850) for cars.
The requirements include the following:
Once the transaction is complete, park your car at the same location as their pick-up points for motorcycles.
Bike owners can get in touch with the staff by messaging them on Facebook with the date of shipment and the preferred pick-up location.
Customers may also learn about the service by checking out the company’s Facebook page or website. Their contact info can also be found below:

If you know someone who’s looking to have their motorcycles towed back to JB before their VEP expires, share this lobang with them.
Given the number of motorcycles being towed in the pictures, we’re expecting this to be a popular service among Malaysian riders in Singapore, so reach out to The RoadCrews ASAP if you’re interested in the service.
