A motorcyclist died in an accident in Tampines after having fallen onto the road divider.
The incident occurred on 26 Oct at around 4pm on Tampines Road.
Video footage from a passing car showed a police car and an ambulance at the scene on both ends of the accident site.
On the rightmost lane, a motorcycle lay on its side at the kerb. A blue police tent used for covering deceased bodies had been set up on the road divider next to it.
The video also showed various police officers investigating the scene.
A photo in the video also showed the accident site before the police arrived.
A blue car had stopped at the crash site, with three men checking on the fallen rider. The victim lay face-down on the grass.
The police told MS News that they were alerted to the accident at about 3.50pm, along Tampines Road towards Tampines Industrial Avenue 4.
They currently believe that the 54-year-old male motorcyclist self-skidded.
A Singapore Civil Defence Force (SCDF) paramedic pronounced him dead at the scene. Police investigations are ongoing.
