A motorcyclist in Malaysia recently stopped at a traffic light to save a turtle attempting to cross a bustling road. His thoughtful gesture earned him widespread praise online.
On Wednesday (4 Nov), Facebook page Hikmah Viral shared a video capturing the moment a turtle crawled across a busy intersection, narrowing avoiding oncoming vehicles.
A black SUV was seen slowing down to avoid hitting the reptile, and the motorcyclist, noticing the situation, immediately stopped at the side of the road.
After checking for traffic, he ran over and picked up the turtle, ensuring it wouldn’t be run over.

Although the video didn’t reveal where the motorcyclist relocated the turtle, viewers hoped it was taken to a safe place, reported Malaysian news media Sin Chew Daily.
The video drew admiration from netizens, many of whom commended the motorcyclist for his kindness.
One user humorously impersonated the turtle, thanking the rescuer for the good deed.
