In a video uploaded to the ROADS.sg Facebook page, a motorcyclist was seen slipping off his bike on a wet section of road along Yishun Avenue 8.
According to the accompanying caption, the incident happened at about 10.30am on Tuesday (15 Oct).
After falling off his bike, the motorcyclist slid along the road before coming to a stop a few metres away. The rider remained conscious and got up after a few seconds.
Upon witnessing the incident, a few drivers promptly stopped their vehicles.
At least three drivers exited their vehicles and approached the motorcyclist to assist him.
The drivers were subsequently spotted picking up the fallen bike and pushing it to the side of the road.
It was likely raining at the time, as seen by the water droplets on the dashcam vehicle’s windshield as well as the glistening road surface.
Netizens took to the comments section to applaud the drivers who helped the motorcyclist.
Going the extra mile to help someone is praiseworthy enough, but doing so in adverse weather makes the incident all the more wholesome.
Others took the opportunity to remind road users to be careful when driving in the rain.
