Celebrations of religious festivals make for beautiful, colourful sights.
When people of faith converge to offer their prayers in peace, the result is truly stunning. This is exactly what happened when this photo was snapped, capturing the awe-inspiring moment Muslims in Singapore were praying at Sultan Mosque in Kampung Glam.
Facebook user Shahida Mohamed uploaded the photo on Wednesday (5 Jun), to commemorate the first day of Hari Raya.
The image quickly went viral, with about 2.2k shares at the time of writing.

Thanks to the close but neatly packed rows of believers, the small alley between Muscat Street and Subhan Street is quietly transformed into a vibrant and stunning tapestry.
Such is the power of faith.
Netizens were in awe of the magnificent sight, with many expressing gratitude for the spectacle.
One Facebook user said the photo reminded him of people praying at the Masjid al-Haram (the Great Mosque of Mecca), and Al-Masjid an-Nabawi (The Prophet’s Mosque) in Saudi Arabia.
Another user played Find Waldo with him and his son, as he managed to spot the both of them dressed in light blue.
His comment translates as,
This bro…is me and my son.
The photo also found its way to the timeline of a Japanese citizen. He wishes to share the picture too, like many others.
