Not too long ago, pork lard chendol sold at a restaurant in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia divided the Internet.
Following its heels, a stall in KL was recently featured on a TikTok video showcasing their unique offerings–nasi lemak and char kway teow nachos.

The video, posted earlier this week, quickly gained attention and has since garnered 1.5 million views.
The video begins with an open pack of nachos just enough to feed one person.
A cup of bright green-coloured coconut rice is added, then cucumber, ikan bilis, peanuts, hard-boiled egg, and fried egg.

To finish off the nasi lemak nachos, everything is topped with a huge dollop of sambal and an entire fried chicken drumstick.
In the same video, char kway teow nachos are also prepared, with the chips cooked in the sauce alongside the noodles, taugeh, and egg.

The video drew thousands of comments on TikTok, with many saying innovations in food have “gone too far” or are “too much”.
However, others jokingly chimed in with other unique food combinations, such as rojak, mee sup, or chendol nachos.

The video was also reposted on Reddit, where some said adding the nachos while cooking char kway teow is counterintuitive as they become soggy.
