Before you head out to get your bubble tea fix, here’s a reality check.
Did you know that a single plastic bottle can stay on earth for more than 400 years? Imagine how many years that would add up to at the rate we consume bubble tea.
Here’s a chance to make a difference. From now till 15 Sep, bring your own bottle to the National Museum and you can redeem a free Gong Cha milk tea.
In conjunction with the Packing Matters exhibition, National Museum is hoping visitors can adopt the Bring Your Own Bottle (BYOB) habit by giving away Gong Cha milk tea.
Through this campaign, they’re encouraging everyone to adopt environmentally friendly practices.
They are also hoping to raise awareness on the reduction of single-use plastic disposables, starting with bubble tea plastic cups.
From now to 15 Sep, you can redeem your free Gong Cha milk tea between 12pm-3pm. Only 200 milk teas are up for grabs each day at National Museum.

Let’s start by bringing our own bottles when we are out to purchase the next cup of bubble tea.
Even though some bubble tea shops might not allow that, but at least we tried. Remember, every cup counts.
