A leap towards cashless society

The earlier edition of the campaign that ended in May saw overwhelming responses and a close to 500% increase in NETS QR code transactions.

Now, over 3,000 hawker canteens and hawker stalls accept this payment mode.

In an attempt to encourage more hawkers to install NETS terminals, NETS have also waived the transaction and terminal fees for them for 3 years.

As this city-state is moving towards becoming a smart cashless society, more stall owners are jumping onto the bandwagon by implementing contactless payments.

Hurry and try it out at one of the local food stalls today.

Don’t say bojio!

A 50 cent discount on a $2.50 plate of carrot cake is a whopping 20% discount after all.
