They would work until around 1pm before packing up and heading home in the evening.

The dishes are prepared based on a family recipe passed on from Mr Lim’s father.

The pair, who are now in their 70s, have decided to wind up business due to their old age.

Decline offers to purchase because experience can’t be bought

According to The Straits Times, their children have their own careers and have no plans on taking over.

The elderly couple has received bids to purchase their recipe but has rejected all of them as they feel “the experience required to take over the stall cannot be bought”.
