A 21-year-old man was recently found dead at a Nanyang Technological University (NTU) dormitory.
The police told MS News that the incident occurred at about 7.45am on Tuesday (3 Dec).
They received a call for assistance at 64 Nanyang Crescent, where the Tanjong Hall of Residence is located.
There, officers found a man lying motionless.
The Singapore Civil Defence Force (SCDF) said paramedics declared the man dead at the scene.
Based on early investigations, the police do not suspect foul play.
According to 8world News, the deceased was a first-year student at NTU’s Renaissance Engineering Programme.
An NTU spokesperson told MS News that the university is assisting the police in their investigations.
“We are providing counselling support to the student’s family and friends during this difficult time.”
Police investigations are ongoing.
