On Tuesday (25 June), the SG Road Vigilante – SGRV Facebook page posted a video involving a car and a PAB rider at a Woodlands junction.
The car was exiting the junction when two young riders on power-assisted bicycles (PAB) crossed the road despite the traffic light displaying a red man.
While doing so, one of the riders flashed his middle finger at the driver.
Netizens have called out the riders for their rude and reckless behaviour.
According to SGRV, the incident occurred at the junction of Woodlands Avenue 6 and 7 at 5pm on Monday (24 June).
The car was heading towards the left side of the junction when the traffic lights turned green, signalling them to proceed.
As the car was advancing forward, two PAB riders abruptly crossed the road despite a red man signalling for pedestrians to stop.

The car stopped to allow the riders to cross. However, one of the riders proceeded to point his middle finger at the driver.

The driver then waited for the riders to cross safely before advancing forward, after which the clip ended.
After watching the video, many Facebook users were shocked by the rider’s “rude” behaviour.

Others said the driver should have alighted from their car to confront the rider.

Overall, netizens were “disappointed” by the rider’s rude behaviour and disregard for traffic rules.
