Pepe the Frog was the unofficial mascot of the Hong Kong protests in 2019. In the true spirit of ingenuity, Hongkongers have incorporated the frog into their new year couplets.

The humorous couplets, or 春联 (chun lian) in Mandarin, are going viral in Singapore, with a Facebook post garnering more than 400 shares as of the time of writing.

For the curious, the netizen who spotted the couplets told MS News that the couplets can be found at Sham Shui Po, Hong Kong. One couplet will set you back S$8.51 (49 HKD).

Though we’re not sure if they can be bought online, those who happen to be in HK may wish to snag some of these couplets and be blessed by Pepe this CNY.
