In the magical land that is Japan, there is often one too many things to do. Streets filled with cafes and ramen booths will leave you spoiled for choice when it comes to choosing what to eat for every one of your meals.
However, we are going to add on to the list of choices you have as a brand new Pikachu cafe just opened near Ikebukuro Station in Tokyo.
According to NintendoSoup, The Pokémon Company officially launched its brand new cafe called Pikachu Sweets By Pokémon Cafe on Thursday 19 Dec.
The kawaii cafe is located at Sunshine City’s 2nd floor and is open from 10am – 8pm daily.
The cafe offers many Pikachu food items but the main item that you must go for according to netizens’ early reviews is the Pikachu cupcakes.
The Pikachu cupcake is priced at for $15 (1,200 yen) a set of 2.
Other items that are sold in the cafe include Pikachu Sweets that cost $21 (1650 yen), cute Pikachu tumblers that retail at $18 (1430 yen) and Get Latte, a latte which features Pikachu art, that costs $7 (550 yen).
You can even add on a cute Pikachu cup holder by topping up $7 (550 yen) when you get a drink from the cafe. So freaking cute!
After you are finished indulging in the electric treats, you can head over to the Pokémon Centre Mega, which is also located on the 2nd level of Sunshine Plaza.
In the Pokémon Centre, you can buy merch like soft toys, phone cases and utensils.
You can even buy Pikachu-themed instant noodles!
The cafe is conveniently located 3 minutes away from Higashi Ikebukuro station, which means that there is no excuse to tell your child that it is inaccessible.
