A missing little prince

Elaine, the owner of Prince, reportedly flew back to Singapore earlier to locate her dog who was last spotted at a footpath along Hillview Avenue at 2am on 31 Dec.

He had escaped under the care of Platinium Dogs Club – a beleaguered pet house-boarding service – which has been accused of neglecting at least 4 dogs leading to their sickness or distress, and the alleged death of another.

Ms Teo shares that Prince could be located anywhere in these locations:

  • Bukit Panjang
  • Bukit Batok
  • Bukit Timah
  • Singapore Botanic Gardens
  • Novena
  • Boon Keng
  • Serangoon Road

Speaking from prior experience, she confirms that missing dogs have been known to cover the distance between “Ang Mo Kio to Pasir Ris in 2 days” and even “CCK to Suntec in 2-3 days” on their journeys home to their loved ones.

Possible road home?

Here’s a map of the possible path he could have taken over the past few days.

As Prince’s owners live near St. Michaels along Serangoon Road, they believe he may still be searching for a way home. The family also frequents Botanic Gardens’ cafe, so they haven’t ruled out the possibility that Prince would head there instead.

Ms Teo provided details on the dog’s appearance to help locals identify the canine on sight.
