All pets, whether big or small, deserve a loving and caring home. But some may take a bit longer to find one.
A two-month-old puppy was recently the only one left behind at an adoption drive. He’s still on the lookout for an owner, three days after the end of the event.
The organisers of the drive are appealing to anyone interested in rehoming Charlie.
On Monday (20 Jun), Exclusively Mongrels Limited highlighted the lone puppy’s plight via a Facebook post.
Two-month-old Charlie had attended an adoption drive in Bishan on Saturday (18 Jun).
While all his furry friends received interest from owners and left for their new abodes this week, he was the only one left behind.
Since then, Charlie has been waiting for an owner to take him away to a loving home.
Looking at his woeful eyes, we can’t help but agree that it’s high time he found a doting family of his own.
As a result of his young age, he also requires regular feeding and cannot be left alone for extended periods.
Exclusively Mongrels Limited has vouched for Charlie as a lovable addition to any family.
Although he may need some help with toilet training, he is extremely friendly and adorable.
After being dewormed and microchipped by the vet, Charlie has also received his first vaccination. Hence, he now has the all-clear from the vet and is more than ready for adoption.
All he will need is an adopter who is loving, patient, and willing to guide him along his journey.
Prospective owners do need to be aware that Charlie is not of HDB-approved size at this age.
Those keen on taking care of Charlie can contact Exclusively Mongrels Limited via WhatsApp at 97890569.
It would be a pity for such a cute doggo with soulful eyes like Charlie to go on for too long without his very own family.
However, those interested in adopting him will need to be aware that adopting an animal, even one as adorable as Charlie, is a huge responsibility.
But if you are confident in your ability to provide Charlie with a loving home, do drop Exclusively Mongrels Limited a text.
