A towering rooster-shaped hotel stands proudly at the heart of Campuestohan Highland Resort in the Philippines.
Located in the city of Talisay, the quirky hotel draws curious eyes with its unique design.
The building — 34m in height, 12m in width, and 28m in length — also set the world record for the largest rooster-shaped structure.
The hotel features 15 air-conditioned rooms, each with a television, hot showers, and large comfy beds suitable for groups or families.
Additional features at the hotel include a massive wave pool, cosy dining options, three swimming pools, bonita huts, and hundreds of dinosaur and cartoon figures throughout the property, reports Philippine news outlet Philstar.
Guests can also enjoy panoramic views of the surrounding areas from a dedicated viewing deck.
A four-person room costs 4,500 pesos (S$102) per night, while a seven-person room is priced at 7,000 pesos (S$158) per night.
Reservations can be made via Campuestohan Highland Resort’s website.
Ricardo Cano Gwapo Tan, the project’s mastermind, described himself as a dreamer who wanted to create something unthinkable.
“I had a vision to make something with a wow factor that can really leave a footprint of admiration to the public,” he said.
When asked why he went with the shape of a rooster, Ricardo explained that he was inspired by the cockfighting industry which is a big source of employment in the country.
He added that the animal’s strong and commanding appearance reflected the Filipino people’s spirit.
The hotel took 456 days to construct, with work ending on 8 Sept this year.
