Rottweiler attack injured
Four people were injured after a vicious Rottweiler attack on Tuesday (1 April) in Baling, Kedah, Malaysia.
The two dogs had allegedly escaped from their owner’s home, and two victims suffered severe injuries — one was even left in a coma, according to Sin Chew Daily.
The dog owner was asked to hand over the two dogs to authorities to be kept for examination.
At around 5:45am on 1 April, distressed residents took to a local Facebook group to share shocking images of the attack’s aftermath.
According to State Health and Local Government Committee Chairman Mansor Zakaria, the two dogs had escaped from their owner’s house, “attacking members of the public.”
Pictures posted on the Facebook Group showed two severely injured victims inside an ambulance.
One of the victims had his shirt covered in blood with multiple injuries around his arms and legs.

Passers-by reportedly attempted to chase the dogs away, but their efforts proved futile.
All four victims are receiving medical treatment at a clinic in Kuala Ketil.
Shortly after the attack, the dog owner arrived and managed to retrieve the animals.
Outraged residents confronted the owner and swiftly lodged a police complaint against him.
Alarmingly, residents reported that this was not the first time these Rottweilers had attacked people. A professor at a university had also been mauled by the same dogs in a previous incident.
Mansor urged the Baling Municipal Council and the Veterinary Services Department to “take immediate action.”
The Baling District Police have since launched an investigation into the 70-year-old dog owner, identified as Zhong.
Following the incident, the dogs were surrendered to the authorities for examination and isolation.
The latest attack has sparked widespread concern, with residents demanding stricter measures to prevent such incidents in the future.
