A Singaporean man, Winston planned an elaborate proposal for his soulmate and documented it in the form of a video.
After posting it on Facebook, he certainly got most ladies wishing they were his fiancee and men stressing over their future proposals.
The proposal was not too over-the-top, no loud music, no flash mob dancers and certainly no fire-eaters.
It was just Winston standing in a heart outlined with candles with ninety nine roses in one hand and a ring in the other.
He added a personal touch to his proposal by inviting their close family and friends to witness their great milestone and even strung up many photographs of them.
To kickstart the proposal, Winston did not forget to be comedic by losing his iPad because come on, who doesn’t love a funny guy. (The iPad was “lost” because someone passed it to his fiancee)
Perhaps these are the reasons why his fiancee was already in tears before she was blindfolded!
If you have yet to watch the video, here it is:
Featuring many of Singapore’s iconic places, Winston’s proposal video could very well be mistaken for an ad promoting Singapore.
In our city, we may not have the iconic attractions like the London Eye but we do have our Singapore flyer!
Singapore would not be Singapore without our legendary hawker centres!
A scene from The Republic of Singapore Yacht Club.
How’s this for a Singapore promo, STB? We think this is a more romantic way to portray Singapore compared to #bubblebutt.
With Valentine’s day just around the corner, Winston’s proposal sure puts everyone in the mood of love!
