After the confirmation of a Covid-19 case in the office, DBS dramatically evacuated 300 employees. Within 2 days, Shell had to implement a similar protocol.

Shell cleared their Buona Vista office on 14 Feb after 1 employee was found to have close contact with a confirmed patient.

As the number of Covid-19 cases increases, Singapore companies are taking more precautions to protect their staff.

Shell employee did not display any symptoms

According to Shell’s press release, the employee is currently well with no symptoms of Covid-19.

However, the company decided not to take any chances, immediately sending the employee home from The Metropolis office. He will be monitoring his health at home.
