South Korea Confirms 22 More Cases Of Covid-19 & 1st Death Linked To Coronavirus

South Korea Now Has The Most Covid-19 Cases Outside Mainland China

Earlier today, South Korea confirmed 31 confirmed cases of the Covid-19 virus, bringing the country’s tally to 82.

Almost half of the country’s confirmed cases were linked to a 61-year-old woman who attended services at a church accused of being a cult.

On the same evening, South Korean authorities confirmed another 22 new cases, and the country’s first Covid-19 death.

South Korea’s first Covid-19 death still being investigated

At the time of this article, the exact cause of death is still being investigated, and not much information is known about the deceased.

With the 22 new confirmed cases, South Korea now has 104 Covid-19 patients — the most outside of mainland China.

Most of the cases are in the city of Daegu, where the 61-year-old woman had attended church services and visited a hospital prior to testing positive for the virus.

Hope Korean government will introduce necessary measures
