Just last Friday (8 May), a lady got into a dispute with Sun Plaza employees over her refusal wear a mask.
Just 4 days later on Tuesday (12 May), another video was shared on Facebook showing a man in a heated discussion with a Square 2 mall staff. The man was apparently denied entry into the mall as he wasn’t wearing his mask properly.
You can watch the video in full here.
According to Lianhe Zaobao, the incident happened on Monday (11 May) at around 6pm.
In the video, a man donning a red cap with his mask pulled down was seen shouting at the mall staff.
The man also gestured violently while lecturing the employee. Passers-by naturally turned their heads upon hearing the commotion.
Apparently, the man in black wanted to enter the mall but was stopped as he wasn’t wearing his face mask properly, reports Lianhe Zaobao.
The staff stationed at the entrance was reportedly “unfriendly” when he instructed the man to don his mask. The pair soon got into the heated argument soon after.
At one point, the man challenged the staff, saying “what are you going to do to me” repeatedly in close proximity.
Police officers arrived at the scene 10 minutes after the commotion started, reports Lianhe Zaobao.
Thankfully, the man simmered down and cooperated with the cops.
Regardless of how the incident started, we hope both parties eventually settled the matter amicably.
