We all know Starbucks as the go-to place for delicious coffee, catch-ups with friends, meetings with co-workers and cramming homework with friends.
That’s why we’re happy to know that they have a new branch near Potong Pasir MRT. The coffee giant announced its opening on 13 Feb (Wednesday).
The interior boasts of a black and white minimalist aesthetic that blends perfectly with the wooden chairs and tables.
You can finish your work sitting on the bar stools whilst appreciating the sleepy neighborhood.
At the centre of the store is a 2-way Agamograph painting which changes as the viewer moves from one side to another.
For instance, it looks like a farmer is tilling the soil when viewed from the left side.
But from the right-side, the painting appears to be a mountain surrounded by lush greenery.
The corner has frames of Starbucks’ coffee farm in Costa Rica plus mugs and coffee beans that’s a must-have for coffee connoisseurs.
Residents of Potong Pasir will definitely be pleased with this new hangout for late-night meetings and last-minute cramming sessions. Once sleep starts to set in, you can always enjoy a cup of coffee to stay sane and survive the long hours of work.
