If you’re dreaming of a luxurious sushi buffet during the holidays, we’ve got a very great deal for you.
Sushi Express is celebrating their Heartbeat@Bedok branch’s 1st anniversary with a $1+ per plate promo on Saturday (2 Feb).
Fans of the sushi chain will know that a plate of sushi or sashimi costs about $1.50+ so the more you eat, the more you save.
Here’s a brief look at their menu.
Sushi Express’ menu will leave you spoilt for choice.
Nigiri consists of slices of raw fish on top of small sushi rice but at the restaurant there’s salmon, sea urchins, eels and more!
Gunkan, also known as the battleship roe, is made of rice and nori seaweed but mixed with salmon, sea urchin or flying fish roe.
We’ve all experienced tasting the crunchy and colourful fish roe eggs at least once in our lifetime. If you haven’t, then we highly recommend their salmon roe nigiri.
Salmon is the most prized topping on yusheng platters — right after the golden crackers, that is. But if you want to enjoy hoards of succulent slices of salmon ASAP, you can grab ‘em from Sushi Express.
Plus, you can get glass shrimp, tuna and sweet shrimp sashimi to boot!
Maki, also referred to as the beginner sushi, usually appears to be rice with various fillings and wrapped in seaweed. A quick glance at the restaurant’s menu shows signs of experimentation with their fried tofu pouch with mixed nuts and hana maki.
Sushis might be the highlight, but Japanese side dishes can also leave our mouths watering. So don’t forget to grab a plate of shrimps, jellyfish, octopus and other sea critters.
Those with a sweet tooth will be pleased to know that they can also get some Japanese style cream puffs, mango pudding, cakes and brownies.
Since the promo is during the Chinese New Year holiday season, expect a lot of people to line up for this lobang deal. The promo is valid from 6PM to 10PM on 2 Feb (Saturday) only!
We suggest you line up early so you’ll have the time to try ‘em all. Be sure to jio your friends and family — because there’s nothing like celebrating the festive season with the ones you love.
