According to the Health Sciences Authority (HSA), the penalties for possession, use and purchase of e-vaporisers start from S$500 for first-time offenders under the age of 18.

Repeat offenders face a maximum of S$2,000.

From Jan 2024 to March 2025, HSA and the Ministry of Health (MOH) have intensified enforcement action against vaping, catching more than 17,900 people for the possession and use of e-vaporisers.

HSA has also seized more than S$41 million worth of e-vaporisers and components, and conducted 50 successful operations against large-scale e-vaporiser syndicates over that time period.
