TOTO jackpot snowballs to S$10M for 14 Nov draw after 3 draws without Group 1 winner

TOTO draw on 14 Nov will be a cascade draw, jackpot could be split

Less than a month after the last S$10 million TOTO jackpot, another draw has snowballed to that eye-catching amount.

According to the Singapore Pools website, the draw on Thursday (14 Nov) will be conducted at 9.30pm that night.

No Group 1 winner on 4 Nov, 7 Nov & 11 Nov

The TOTO jackpot snowballed after three consecutive draws on 4 Nov, 7 Nov and 11 Nov failed to produce a Group 1 winner.

The last draw that had a Group 1 winner was on 31 Oct, when one punter took home S$1,210,119.

So far, there were four Group 2 winners on 4 Nov, two on 7 Nov and three on 11 Nov — but no Group 1 winner.

This caused the Group 1 prize to increase from S$1.2 million on 4 Nov to S$2.9 million on 7 Nov, and then S$6 million on 11 Nov.

TOTO jackpot on 14 Nov to be split if no Group 1 winner emerges

Accordingly, the draw on 14 Nov will be a cascade draw, which is typically called in such a situation.

That means the jackpot will be split between the Group 2 winners if no Group 1 winner emerges.

If there are no Group 2 winners, the prize will be split among the Group 3 winners, and so on.

Cascade draws are typically pushed back to 9.30pm from the usual draw timing of 6.30pm, according to Singapore Pools.

Sales would also close later at 9pm.

Last S$10M draw was on 21 Oct

The previous time the jackpot snowballed to S$10 million was just about three weeks ago on 21 Oct.

That draw was also conducted after three consecutive weeks with no Group 1 winner.

After the dust settled, two winners split a whopping S$13,214,250, with each of them getting S$6,607,125.

One of the winning tickets was a System 7 entry sold online, meaning that the punter paid S$7 for seven numbers instead of the usual six, which gives them seven ordinary entries instead of one.

The other winning ticket was a System 8 entry sold at a Singapore Pools outlet named Tong Aik Huat.

A System 8 entry means the bettor paid S$28 for eight numbers, giving them 28 entries.

Before 21 Oct, the last S$10 million cascade draw was on 9 May, when one very lucky winner took home S$13,123,509 all for themselves.
