American football player Travis Kelce has come out to talk about his time in Singapore, where he attended two of his partner Taylor Swift’s concerts.
The 34-year-old athlete recently took to the podcast ‘New Heights’, which he co-hosts with his brother and fellow American football player Jason Kelce, to discuss his visit to Gardens By The Bay (GBTB).
On top of that, he also shared his fascination towards Marina Bay Sands (MBS) and Singapore’s architecture.
This comes days after his superstar girlfriend Taylor Swift wrapped the last of her six shows in the Lion City.
In the ‘New Heights’ episode that premiered on Wednesday (13 March), Travis tells his brother about the “fun times” he had in Singapore.
“I got to check out the world’s largest greenhouse, how about that?” he gushed while detailing his visit to the Flower Domes at GBTB, adding that he is a “huge plant guy”.
“It was cool as f—k. They had the world’s, like, biggest waterfall in a greenhouse too. It was awesome, man.”
He praised how Gardens By The Bay had everything laid out and controlled, ensuring that everything was “blooming at the same time”.
Calling it a “unique” experience, Travis subsequently remarked that it was nice to step into the air-conditioned venue after being in Singapore’s “hot as f—k” weather.
“It was so lovely to go in there just hang out in that thing and see all the amazing plants.”
The Kansas City Chiefs tight end then briefly talked about the “two amazing shows” of Taylor Swift’s ‘The Eras Tour’ he attended while he was in Singapore, which is the last leg of the tour before she resumes it in Europe in May.
When Jason asked whether Singapore is as “futuristic” as it looks in photographs, Travis replied in the affirmative, saying it is “as advertised”.
“The architecture’s crazy. They have that one hotel, the Marina Bay Sands or something like that, where it looks like a boat is on top of three pillars — that thing is as advertised as well, just absolutely cool as sh—t.”
Even Singapore’s street lighting “amazed” him, he expressed.
“Everything there is so high-tech and you can just tell it’s very well-planned out from an architectural standpoint.”
