In a Facebook post on Wednesday (16 Oct), Valley Chef announced the return of their chicken franks to Singapore.
The food wholesaler also shared that their iconic chicken sausages will be sold exclusively at NTUC FairPrice stores.
The announcement comes about two years after the sausage products disappeared off shelves in Singapore.
Many eagle-eyed customers spotted the sausages on its first day of sales on 16 Oct.
In a TikTok video, a netizen shared that they spotted Valley Chef’s sausages at the FairPrice outlet in Eastpoint Mall.
“Best sausage ever,” the accompanying caption read.
Other netizens also attested to the brand’s quality in the comments section.
The brand’s beloved sausages vanished mysteriously from local supermarkets about two years ago, leaving loyal customers puzzled.
Many were quick to notice its absence, with numerous netizens taking to social media platforms to enquire about the brand’s disappearance.
“Not sure if anyone else is a fan, but growing up I only ate Valley Chef chicken franks,” a Redditor said in a thread. “Recently I don’t find it in the supermarkets anywhere.”
Valley Chef’s Facebook page was also bombarded with comments from netizens who wanted to get their hands on the brand’s sausages.
It is unclear why the brand’s sausage products disappeared from stores in Singapore.
