Couple Shares “Horrible” $2,700 Wedding Photos To Warn Others To Be Careful

Couple Allegedly Paid $2,700 For The Wedding Photos

Your wedding is probably one of the most important days of your life. So it’s no surprise that most couples pay through their nose to engage a decent wedding photographer.

But what happens when the photographer’s work is a disaster?

That’s the situation one couple found themselves in recently. They turned to Facebook to air their frustrations, in a post that has since gone viral.

Facebook post went viral

The newlyweds allegedly paid Reflection Photography around $2,700 for the following services:

  • Photography
  • Videography
  • Photobooth photography

Pretty standard stuff in this day and age. They didn’t sense anything amiss during the photoshoot, since the photographer was saying things like,

Oh good! Nice shot! Next! Yes, good!

The couple only discovered the horrific state of the photos 3 months after their wedding. We look at the 5 worst photos from their wedding:

1. Black and white filter

Weddings are meant to be joyous occasions. Slapping on a black and white filter not only makes the photo look depressing, it also gives the ceremony an ominous feel.

2. Wedding, not a footwear commercial

We have no idea what the photographer had in mind when he took this shot, but shouldn’t the couple or their guests be the highlight of every wedding photo?

3. Bad, bad, bad angle

Most of us have a better side or an angle from which we prefer our photos to be taken.

Nobody’s good angle is from the bottom up–photos from that view highlight unflattering features like triple chins.

4. Cropped-off gown

Not only is this photo asymmetrical, but part of the bride’s gown is cropped off as well. They paid good money for the dress rental y’know, why chop it off like that?

5. Severe overexposure

There’s really no need to exaggerate the sun’s rays by overexposing the photo, unless you’re intentionally making it look like they’re walkin’ on sunshine (wooo).

What’s done is done

Media reports say the couple’s request to have $1,000 shaved off the wedding photography bill was turned down–but they did settle for $300 off.

The couple say they’re sharing their experience to warn couples to better research a wedding photographer before committing to his/her services.
