Wife of vice-principal who allegedly cheated with parent leaves mysterious posts

The wife of a former vice-principal, who publicly exposed her husband’s alleged affair with a student’s parent, has shared more cryptic posts on Facebook.

On the morning of 21 Oct, she posted a reflection on advice from her mother, saying: “My mama always told me: ‘What goes around comes around and what goes up, must come down.”

Everything in the dark must come to light. And you will reap what you sow.

Another post on 20 Oct, written in traditional Chinese characters, loosely translated to: “Adults, too, are people who never learn to behave, with restless souls. They want to shine brightly and play with fire, yet end up getting burned.”

Wife removes posts, leaves only cover photo featuring husband

At the time of writing, the woman has removed access to all her posts and photos, except for her cover image, which still features her husband.

Before the incident surfaced, the couple appeared to share a loving relationship, with past posts showing them together at various events.

The have reportedly been married for more than 30 years.

The Internet has been abuzz ever since MS News broke the story on 18 Oct, when the wife posted a series of photos showing her husband in intimate moments with another woman, one of which featured the pair with gifts.

The situation reportedly escalated when she claimed her husband smashed her phone upon discovering her posts.

She also said she was handling the matter at a police station.

 

More details have since emerged, with someone claiming to be the wife telling Shin Min Daily News that the affair had lasted for a year and a half.

She began to suspect something was amiss only a few months ago when her husband’s behaviour changed, she shared.

Meanwhile, netizens on Reddit have been sharing their experiences with the vice-principal.

One person described him as “soft-spoken and friendly”, often seen walking around the school talking to students and parents. “He talks to students like friends and was always encouraging them.”

Another user recalled him as “very chill”, often taking pictures with students. He was also reportedly active on Instagram but has since deleted his account.

MS News understands that the parent allegedly involved in the affair has two sons enrolled in the school where the vice-principal worked. She is also believed to be a parent volunteer.

Meanwhile, the Ministry of Education (MOE) is investigating the matter, and the man in question has also deleted his LinkedIn account.

He previously told MS News that he was “unable to comment at this point in time”.
