Bronwin Aurora, a 22-year-old influencer, is under fire for posting a TikTok video where she danced next to her 85-year-old boyfriend lying on a hospital bed. The caption read: “Guys I got on the will, should I pull the plug?”
Though the original video posted in October garnered only about 132,000 views on TikTok, a repost by a popular X account catapulted it into virality. Since 3 Dec, it has amassed more than 1.2 million views and nearly 2,000 comments.
The video drew intense backlash, with viewers leaving scathing remarks and criticising Ms Aurora for her apparent lack of sensitivity.
The Daily Mail reported that many commenters hoped the elderly man would remove her from the will. Others pointed out the significant age gap, saying the man was old enough to be her grandfather.

This isn’t the first time Ms Aurora has leaned into jokes about her relationship.
In a separate post, she claimed her boyfriend was bedridden in a hospital because they had been intimate. The 85-year-old has also participated in the humour, lip-syncing to a voiceover about his lack of stamina compared to his much younger partner.
Despite the criticism, Ms Aurora has doubled down, continuing to post similar videos. She recently featured her boyfriend, now out of the hospital and in a wheelchair, in new clips.
One clip showed her addressing questions about their relationship. When asked, “Are you just after his money, or no?” she shook her head, looked down, and replied, “No”.

Regarding their unconventional age gap, Ms Aurora reportedly addressed it in a video, saying, “Age is literally just a number. I love him for who he is as a person, and he loves me for who I am as a person… obviously,” according to the Daily Mail.
However, the authenticity of their relationship remains unclear. While Ms Aurora frequently posts content featuring the man, it is uncertain if their dynamic is genuine or part of a larger act for views.
There has also been no mention of the man’s family or whether they stand to inherit anything from him. Beyond her TikTok content, there is no concrete indication of how much Ms Aurora might inherit.
