In the 74-second clip, a man was seen carefully walking on the side of the building towards the boy in an attempt to rescue him.
The man slowly approached the boy and then scooped the child in his arms, looking into the flat from which the boy had presumably come from through the open window.
“Be careful!” Numerous members of the public could be heard exclaiming to the man.

He then appeared to talk to someone inside the flat before handing the boy over to the said person.
At that moment, the crowd gasped, “There’s someone inside the house!”
Speaking to MS News, the Singapore Civil Defence Force (SCDF) confirmed that they received a call for assistance at the block on 20 Oct at about 11.50am.
The child, who was unharmed, was sent to KK Women’s and Children’s Hospital as a precautionary measure.
SCDF also acknowledged the assistance rendered by the members of the public during the incident.
“SCDF will be reaching out to commend them for their public spiritedness,” an SCDF spokesperson said.
Many netizens took to the comment section to voice their concerns following the incident.
It is believed that the boy’s parents or guardians had left the unit’s windows open, giving the boy access to the window ledge.
Numerous netizens also applauded the man’s actions, calling him a “hero” for risking his life to save the boy.
