Recently, a woman crawled through the narrow gaps of her house’s iron gate after realising she had forgotten her keys.
On Wednesday (20 Nov), Xiaohongshu user @Boonlouisse uploaded a 43-second video of her showcasing her ‘contortion skills’.
In the caption, she jokingly wrote, “I become a snake.”
The footage showed her first squeezing her head between the horizontal bars of the iron gate, with her upper body easily following through.
With half her body through the gate, she untied a shirt wrapped around her waist. She then used her hands to steady herself on the floor as she wriggled her whole body through the gap.
The woman then retrieved the key from the shoe cabinet and opened the iron gate, before collecting the phone she had placed outside to film.
The video quickly went viral, with nearly 20,000 likes at the time of writing. It even caught the attention of Italuxe — a digital lock company — which offered to sponsor a new door lock.
In a follow-up video two days later, a new digital lock could be seen installed on the gate. The OP also tagged Italuxe in the caption of the post.
Many netizens were surprised to see the OP slipping through the gap smoothly with her petite body.
One netizen asked how slim she had to be to get through the gap.
Another user even compared her to a cat.
This user said that one has to be slim from head to toe in order to attempt this.
