A woman has taken to social media with a barrage of incriminating photos, alleging an affair between her husband, a vice-principal at a local primary school, and a woman whom she claims is a parent at his school.
A previous photo reveals that the woman and her husband have been married for more than 30 years.
On 17 Oct, the woman shared a series of images on Facebook, which show her husband in intimate poses with an unidentified woman at various locations.
Some of the photos depict the man kissing and hugging the woman, while others show them dining together.
The photos did not come with captions. However, in one of the posts, the woman left a comment stating: “That’s the woman who is breaking our family.”
Separately, screenshots of text messages between the unnamed woman and her husband were shared on a website and later posted to the subreddit, r/SingaporeRaw.
The next day, on 18 Oct, the woman shared new photos of her damaged phone, claiming her husband had “smashed” it after discovering she knew about the affair.
“My husband thinks by doing so can erase all the evidence of his affairs with that particular mum of his 2 students,” she wrote.
She added that the situation was being addressed at a police station.
Later, in response to a person asking if she was alright, she said he had “threaten me to lift off the posts”.
Her posts have since garnered a lot of attention, with her receiving an outpouring of support online.
Many also advised her to leave and move on.
A check on the school’s website shows that the man is no longer listed as its vice-principal.
As of the time of writing, the woman has deleted all her Facebook posts.
In response to queries from MS News, the Ministry of Education (MOE) said it is aware of the matter and is looking into it.
“School leaders are expected to maintain high standards of personal conduct to uphold the integrity and reputation of the Public Service,” said MOE.
“The individual has tendered his resignation and is currently on leave. Meanwhile, the school will continue to actively monitor staff and students’ wellbeing and provide the necessary support.”
When contacted by MS News, the husband in question said he’s unable to comment at this point in time.
MS News has also reached out to his wife.
