Investigations are ongoing, Lianhe Zaobao reports.
The incident is believed to have taken place on the morning of 18 Feb.
The 38-year-old woman was reportedly out for a run at Marsiling Park when the tree fell on her, trapping her lower body.

We hope the woman rests in peace and we offer our condolences to her family and friends.
