On Monday (7 April), a female motorcyclist came to the rescue of a woman who was seen wandering in the middle of a busy slip road on the Pan-Island Expressway — earning her praise from netizens as a true roadside hero.
The scene unfolded along the slip road heading towards the Central Expressway (CTE), near Toa Payoh.
Footage shared by SG Road Vigilante (SGRV) showed a line of slow-moving traffic along the two-lane stretch.

A female motorcyclist, seen lane-splitting between vehicles, suddenly raised her hand to signal the camcar behind her to wait as she had spotted something unusual ahead.

Just metres away, a woman was standing alone in the middle of the road, seemingly disoriented. Cars cautiously swerved to avoid her before picking up speed again.

The motorcyclist carefully approached the woman, who had started walking down the expressway slip road.

The two were seen chatting briefly while the camcar remained stationary behind them, effectively shielding them from oncoming vehicles.

After a short while, the motorcyclist appeared to offer the woman a ride, which she accepted.
The woman then climbed onto the back of the bike.

The motorcyclist then rode off, keeping to a relatively low speed.

Netizens were quick to applaud the motorcyclist for stepping in to help, with many calling her a Good Samaritan and hoping she receives recognition for her selfless act.

One commenter wished one of the other cars had stopped to help, as it was dangerous for a motorcyclist to stop in the middle of the PIE.

Others, while appreciative of the gesture, joked that the rider might have technically committed a traffic offence — as her pillion rider was not wearing a helmet.
