A woman in Japan recently stabbed her rival influencer with a pair of scissors after a row escalated.
After stabbing him in the neck, she allegedly watched him beg for his life and even told him: “I’ll just wait for you to die.”
According to Mainichi, the woman was arrested on 1 Nov and has since denied charges of attempted murder.
Local media reported that the 37-year-old woman and her victim, a 40-year-old man, were acquaintances. They often made content centred around ‘exposing‘ each other to gain views on social media.
Unfortunately, things began escalating when the victim began making content about her parents.
This caused the woman to show up at the man’s apartment on Thursday (31 Oct). After reportedly staying at the man’s house for a week, she stabbed him in the neck with a pair of scissors.
Fearing for his life, the man began begging his attacker to call an ambulance. Instead of complying, she started filming him.
“I’ll just wait for you to die,” she said, declining his pleas for medical attention.
She then sent the videos to her acquaintances, much to their confusion. One of them begged her to call the authorities, but that plea also fell on deaf ears.
Fortunately, the victim has since been treated for his injuries. According to local police, the man’s injuries were not life-threatening.
Police are currently investigating the case.
