Amid the circuit breaker measures designed to hopefully curb the spread of Covid-19, some households may find it difficult to stock up in these panicky times.
So one man is offering free instant noodles to those in need, and the collection is taking place today only, while stocks last.
Mr Dyon Ng shared his heartwarming initiative on Facebook, hoping to reach out to anyone in desperate need of essential food items.
There are a “few cartons” available to help out those in need, Mr Ng informs.
To ensure that everyone gets what they need, each person or household can have 2 packets only.
From the photo, there are packs of Maggi and MAMA from Thailand. We’re not too sure if there are more, but there should be enough packets for at least 50 people judging from the number of cartons.
He also kindly reminds everyone to bring a plastic bag or recycle bag as one will not be provided.
Instant noodles are not the healthiest of diets. However, they’re non-perishable and can be stored for a long time, meaning one can tuck in on a rainy day.
Plus, although food establishments are still open for delivery or takeaway, they may not always be the most suitable option for a family hard on cash during this period.
Here’s where one can collect the noodles.

If you know of anyone in the area who may benefit from such help, do inform them of Mr Ng’s offer.
Hopefully this gesture can help some tide through Covid-19. Thank you, Mr Ng!
