On Thursday (27 June), a construction worker was hit by a bus turning into Anson Road. The collision happened after the worker placed a traffic cone in the middle of the road.
Despite getting rolled under the bus, the worker somehow managed to get on his feet moments later.
He was later conveyed to the hospital.
The collision was accompanied by a loud bang in the footage shared by Facebook page SG Road Vigilante.
The impact caused the worker to fall before going under the moving bus.
Despite getting run over by the bus’ front wheels, the worker somehow managed to slide his way out of the rear wheels.
The bus came to a halt after the collision.
Despite being dazed from the hit, the worker manages to sit up. The bus driver, dressed in a red vest, quickly exited the bus to check on the worker.
With the driver’s support, the worker stood up and limped to the side of the road where he was joined by his colleagues.
An SCDF spokesperson told MS News’ said the accident happened at the junction of Anson Road and Enggor Street at about 5.25pm on Thursday (27 June).
In response to a separate query, an SMRT spokesperson said the accident involved a Service 970 bus.
The 33-year-old worker was subsequently conveyed to Singapore General Hospital.
SMRT said it is in contact with the worker to render assistance and support.
In the meantime, the bus captain involved has been suspended.
The 48-year-old driver is also assisting with police investigations.
