Water kettles can be hard to find in some accommodations overseas, especially in more rural areas. And that’s a struggle for young mothers who need to feed their babies, or just teenagers on a budget who just opened their favourite pack of cup noodles.
Thankfully, according to GreatDeals Singapore, Xiaomi recently released a travel-sized portable electric flask that is now retailing at $30.
Viomi, a brand under Xiaomi, designed this handheld flask with portability in mind.
Based on the product’s description, the flask allows you to boil 400ml of water in 6-8 minutes, perfect for cup noodles for your late-night hotel room supper.
Aside from boiling water, you can choose to heat the water up till it’s 50 degrees by tapping the power button twice. This is a quick way for mums to warm milk for their babies without having to wait for the water to cool down.
It weighs a light 500g and comes in at 22.5cm tall, making a perfect travel size electrical flask that can easily fit in your luggage.
The portable flask’s design allows the cord to be fit into the flask so the whole package can be stowed away easily. Unfortunately, the flask likely uses China’s 3-pronged angled pin design for power.
This means that you might have to bring along a separate plug adapter depending on the country you are visiting.
The portable electric flask can be found on Qoo.10 as well as AliExpress for around $29 with free shipping.
The price will be for a limited time only, so don’t take too long to decide if you’re getting one!
