2019 can be summed up as the year where the bubble tea craze was taken to a whole new level. Dishes like bubble tea crabs were created, along with various bubble tea ice creams like Lipton or brown sugar ones.
However, it’s still challenging to ensure that frozen pearls can be as good as freshly cooked ones.
Xing Fu Tang Malaysia has taken matters into their own hands and released its own soft-serve ice creams with fresh pearls.
The ice creams were previously on the Singapore menu but are not available now.
The most popular bubble tea of 2019, or milk for the matter, is obviously brown sugar milk. Xing Fu Tang prides itself as the “World’s no.1 brown sugar fresh milk with pearls” — as written on their Instagram account.
That’s when you can rest assured that it’s one of the 2 flavours that they’re introducing.
The Fresh Milk with Brown Sugar Boba flavour has a generous serving of milky ice cream on top of its rich brown sugar pearls.
If you’re an avid fan of fruit teas, you’re in luck too! There’s also the Strawberry Dream ice cream that comes with slices of fresh strawberry as well.
It’s currently only available at 9 outlets in Malaysia:
We hope that they’ll make a comeback in Singapore soon. When contacted by MS News, a representative said that the ice creams will only be available on specific periods, but couldn’t reveal when they will be bringing it back.
If you’re not heading to Malaysia anytime soon, just stay tuned to Xing Fu Tang Singapore’s social media pages for the latest updates on the ice creams.
