Most of us are probably well-aware of the annual Chinese New Year tradition of tossing yusheng for good wealth and health.
But there are also those who prefer to zhng up their yusheng with timely CNY designs.
Such was the idea of a local seafood delivery service, Buey Tahan See-Food, who rolled out a rat year yusheng design.
Unfortunately, what should have been a design fit for the Year of the Rat became one fit for the Year of the Dog instead, after the deliveries experienced “bumpy roads”.
To end the yusheng’s suffering, Buey Tahan See-Food decided to stop their special rat design deliveries.
The rat design looks just fine before going out for delivery.
Unfortunately, the yusheng ingredients are easily displaced if shaken, so the dish couldn’t stay in shape during particularly bump delivery rides to the customers’ house.
Just look at how the supposed rat design yusheng turned into a cute little Shih Tzu design after a bumpy ride.
Hella tragic.
To make up for these unforeseen circumstances, Buey Tahan See-Food stated that they will refund the $10 fee for the design to customers accordingly.
Since the design remains intact if you dine in-store, the special yusheng is still available there.
You can do so at the following Buey Tahan See-Food dine-in outlets:
