For many, instant noodles are an essential household supply that’s perfect for sudden midnight cravings, or simply a quick yet yummy meal.
If you’re looking to stock up in time for CNY, look no further as ABC Bargain Centres just put up a pretty irresistible deal.
See, Tom Yam Mamee noodles are now available at their outlets for just $1 per carton, each containing 40 packets.
That’s right, 40 packets of the instant noodle for just $1 — that rounds to about $0.025 per packet.
According to several posts in the Facebook group 走,新加坡 (or “Let’s Go, Singapore”), multiple ABC Bargain Centre outlets are offering the deal.
For just $1, customers can take home a whole carton of tom yam flavoured instant noodles. Each carton contains 8 packs of 5, totalling 40 packets per carton.
However, do have a look at the expiry date before checking out as some batches apparently expire after a few months.
If that’s too many numbers, we’ll do the maths for you — it’s about $0.025 per packet or $0.125 for a 5-serving pack at ABC shops.
Here’s a comparison just to put in perspective how irresistible ABC’s deal is.
For a 5-serving pack of Mamee’s Tom Yam instant noodle, you’d normally have to fork out $1.70 on popular online shopping sites.
On another online shopping site, you can get it cheaper at $1.53 per pack — $7.65/5 = $1.53.
But with ABC’s insane deal, you can get the instant noodles for more than 10 times cheaper.

For a similar deal, Value Dollar Shop is also offering 5 packs of Tom Yam Mamee at $1 — slightly more expensive, but still a good deal.
When it comes to awesome deals like this, we expect there to be tons of customers hoping to snag a carton of the instant noodles.
So if you plan on purchasing a carton or 2 of the instant noodle, best do it fast.
After all, this haul alone can stock you up on Tom Yam Mamee for the whole year to come.
