Other fans have also celebrated the diverse casting choice made by Nickelodeon’s team, since Joshua Dela Cruz will be the first Asian host in the show’s history.

Possible reasons why the original host left

Steve Burns – the host of Blues Clues back in the days – was a character that was easily recognised for his green-striped T-shirt.

However, in 2002, Steve left the show abruptly and the real reason behind his departure is still unknown.

According to a report by Huff Post, Steve mentioned that he left the show because he was “balding” and that it just “felt like the right time” to leave.

Blues Clues then changed its host multiple times before ending up with their recent choice.

Now both children and parents can look forward to it

With the show’s hunky new host, we wish Joshua all the best in creating awesome memories for children all over the world with his new take on it.

But don’t be too surprised, if you see parents camping in front of the television with their children to catch Joshua in action too.

We don’t have to sit in the Thinking Chair to know that Blue’s Clues will be even more enjoyable for both children and their nostalgic parents who were fans of Steve & Blue.

Guess it’s time to skidoo over to check it out!
