City Square Mall Will Have Slime Showers, A Slime Escape Room & Massive Playground This Sep School Holidays

City Square Mall To Bring Nickelodeon-Style Slime Walls To Singapore

Those born in the 90s will recall this familiar scene — sitting in front of our television screens, wishing we could get ‘slimed’ in a similar fashion to our favourite Nickelodeon stars.

Well, now you can.

City Square Mall has an insane line-up of extra slimy activities for the family this September school holidays.

Spoiler alert — these include a massive playground, slime showers and an entire escape room.

Stick around for what’s in store if you do decide to take the kiddos over.

Take a slime shower

Weather too hot lately? Consider an alternative kind of shower to keep the humidity at bay — but do remember to wear something that you’re okay with turning completely green.

Slime Showers will be held at these selected intervals from 7 to 15 Sep:

  • 11am – 12.30pm
  • 1.30pm – 6.30pm
  • 7.30pm – 9.00pm

Slime escape room & playground

If you’re not really into the brainless fun of getting absolutely soaked, there’s going to be a 1-min escape room challenge.

Participants have to seek a “hidden key” to unlock the door in this time-sensitive challenge.

Next on the to-do list is a Slime Colouring Wall — which sounds like serious fun for parents who have children who love getting their hands dirty while creating art.

Best part is, you’ll be able to partake in the ‘sliming’ with your kids, crayons, paints will be available to everyone regardless of age.

Finally, we hear that there’ll be a massive Slime Playground for restless kiddos to run around in.

Gear up to get slimed

Fellow slimers, if you’re already packing your equips to gear up for the event, do take note of where it’s going to be held.

Date: 7-15 Sep 2019
Opening Hours: 11am – 9pm daily, last entry 8.30pm
Address: L1 Atrium, City Square Mall, 180 Kitchener Rd, Singapore 208539
Nearest Station: Farrer Park MRT

Parents need to clock a minimum spend of $50 to redeem an event passport for all the slime activities. As each station is completed, don’t forget to redeem a gift for your happy camper.

Do note that redemption is on a first-come, first-served basis up to the first 3,500 participants. Each passport is valid for 1 pax per entry, and children below the age of 3 must be accompanied by an adult.

Keep calm & slime on

So if you’ve been stressing over a way to keep the nieces & nephews entertained, or simply want an alternative plan to spend some quality time with the fam, consider this as an outing!

For the outdoorsy type, there’s also free admission to the Jurong Bird Park, so we’re sure your September holidays will be great fun regardless.

Anything to keep the kiddos off the iPads, right?
