The Ministry of Health (MOH) confirmed 4 new Covid-19 cases in Singapore today (18 Feb).
Among them, 3 have links to Grace Assembly of God Church, which is an official cluster.
The other patient has links to two previous cases.
The new cases mean that Singapore now has a track record of 81.
Now the largest cluster in Singapore, the 3 new cases bring the total count at Grace Assembly of God Church to 21 as of 18 Feb. All 3 are Singaporeans.
One of them works at National University Hospital (NUH) in an administrative capacity, and did not interact with any patients after noticing symptoms.
She is currently in an isolation ward at NUH.
The other patient is Malaysian who is a Singapore Work Pass holder, according to MOH.
She is a family member of a Chinese national who was a non-medical contact of yet another previous case of a 61-year-old doctor at a private hospital.
He was the first healthcare worker here to test positive for the virus.
The Malaysian underwent home quarantine on 15 Feb after MOH tracked her down as a close contact, and was taken to the National Centre for Infectious Diseases (NCID) on 17 Feb. She tested positive for the virus later that afternoon.
None of the above patients have had recent travel history to China.
In more promising news, 5 patients have recovered and left the hospital today, including the 1-year-old who returned from Wuhan on 9 Feb.
The total number of patients who have made successful recovery is now 29.
4 remain in critical condition in the Intensive Care Unit (ICU).
