Unfortunately a 25 year-old Singaporean female, Case 33864, tested positive for Covid-19 on 28 May.
She works as a physiotherapist at Changi General Hospital (CGH), but had not gone to work since the onset of symptoms. CGH has shared that the staff observed infection control measures and donned the appropriate Personal Protective Equipment at work.
A new daily high of 1,337 patients were discharged today, bringing the total number of recoveries to 19,631.
461 patients remain hospitalised, with 8 in critical condition in the intensive care unit. 13,745 are isolated at community facilities, and 23 have passed away from the coronavirus so far.
Hopefully numbers continue to be low, and the situation remains stable.
If this proves to be the case for the next 2 weeks, we could well see Phase 2 starting before the end of June. Meanwhile, let’s just keep playing our part in keeping ourselves, and our loved ones safe.
MS News wishes a speedy recovery to Covid-19 patients, and hope they get better soon.
